RectipilusNotesSaprobes on wood. Cyphelloid basidiomycetes, the fruiting body comprising large numbers of tiny white tubes, seperate but gregarious. Henningsomyces has at least some of the hairs on the outside of the fruiting bodies branched; Rectipilus has hairs not branched.
Two species reported from New Zealand.
