Notes: This indigenous rust, described from Australia, is widespread on Juncus spp. in New Zealand. This is the first record on J. antarcticus.

Notes: The rust is indigenous to New Zealand but also occurs in Australia and Tasmania. The host species include three that are endemic to New Zealand (Juacus novae-zelandiae, J. polyanthemos, and J. vaginatus); the indigenous species J. pallidus and J. pusillus are also present in Australia and Tasmania. J. effusus is a cosmopolitan species. The rust is common throughout New Zealand.
