Notes: Cunningham (1931a) stated that the rust is distributed throughout North and South America, Australia and New Zealand. Since Dichondra repens has become widely used in lawns and bowling greens the rust has become common throughout New Zealand. Both rust and host plants are indigenous to New Zealand.
