(syn. C. indivisa), Baylis (1954) showed by inoculation experiments that it infected only
Clematis forsteri (C. hexasepala). He named the uredospore form infecting C. paniculata as
a new species, Uredo puamhananga Baylis. Puccinia clavata is indigenous to New Zealand.
