Notes: A probable synonym of this section is Gloeocalyx Mass. There is perhaps only one valid
species with curved spores.

Description: Discina pallide-rosea P. Henn. (Rick, Fungi austro-americ. no. 39) ist mit dieser Art
identisch. Es besteht allerdings eine groe Verschiedenheit in der Farbe. Allein es finden sich
alle Übergänge. Oft haben die Exemplare nur einen schwarzen Fu, oft stehen ganz schwarze
neben den braunroten. Ich habe die Art in allen Wäldern während der Regenzeit häufig
gefunden und stets beide Farben-Varietäten nebeneinanider gesehen. Im übrigen sind die
beiden Pilze völlig identisch. Auch Bresadola bestätigte die Identität.
