Notes: Lanzia sp. on Pseudopanax crassifolius and P. chathamicus, known from Stewart Island and
the Chatham Islands.
Pale creamy brown to dull purplish-brown hymenium and receptacle. Colour can be used to
distinguish this species from the Lanzia griseliniae-like species on Pseudopanax, with which
it has often been found growing. Microscopically distinctive in having 4-spored asci.
