Cuticle a palisade consisting of erect, fasciculate, cylindrical hyphae (6-10 µm diam.), terminal cells fusoid or tapering towards the tips, with brownish plasmatic pigment, membrane thin-walled, strongly gelatinized. Clamp connections present.
Habitat: On soil among litter in forests (under Nothofagus spp., Dacrydium cupressinum, Quintinia, Coprosma, etc.). New Zealand.
