slightly sinuate, narrow, crowded, ochraceous, then cinnamon; spores elliptical, pale-yellow,
8-10 x 4-6 µ; stem 5-8 cm. long, 2-4 mm. thick, slightly narrowed upwards, even, glabrous or
sprinkled with white powder at the apex, pallid, then yellowish, rusty below and becoming
brownish, stuffed or hollow. Habitat: On trunks, chips, &c.; rarely on the ground. Distribution: Dannevirke, New Zealand. Europe.
