Marasmius caperatus
Article: Stevenson, G. (1964). The Agaricales of New Zealand: V. Kew Bulletin 19(1): 1-59. Notes: The type of this species in the Kew Herbarium is material from the Himalaya. It is not Marasmius but appears to belong to the Laschia complex. No New Zealand material remains.

the inside of the pileus connecting the gills. Tough. Type specimen examined.
