Description: Pileus 1-2 mm diam., fawn to brown, covered with long pale fawn hairs, hemispherical. Gills few, fawn. Stipe thread-like, 1-4 cm long, dark fuscous with sparse fawn hairs. Spores 9 x 4 µm, faintly amyloid. Cheilocystidia 17 x 6 µm, non-amyloid, colourless. Cuticle with hyphal hairs pseudo-amyloid to amyloid, 3 µm diam., with walls 1 µm thick, with occasional clamp connections.
Habitat: Inserted on fallen leaves, Lake Papaitonga, Levin, 27.10.1947, Stevenson (type).
