Description: Pileus 1-3.5 µm diam., pale incarnate, plane, striate at edge, darker at centre, hygrophanous, drying cottony or silky fibrillose; flesh thin, concolorous. Gills adnate, whitish, moderately crowded. Stipe 3-6 cm x 2-4 mm, incarnate, grooved and twisted, hollow, tough, tapering slightly upwards. Spores 8-9x4 µm, non-amyloid, thin-walled, hyaline (Fig.16). Cuticle of woven hyphae.
Habitat: In litter, Kaingaroa, 12.3.1958, Stevenson (type).
