Article: Massee, G.E. (1899) [1898]. The fungus flora of New Zealand. Transactions and Proceedings of the New Zealand Institute 31: 282–349 Wellington:.
Description: Pileus thin, rather tough, cream-colour or dingy-white, glabrous, slightly striate, deeply umbilicate or funnel-shaped, 1.5-2.5 cm. across ; gills decurrent, rather distant and broad, edge quite entire, interstices even; spores pip-shaped, hyaline, 6 x 4 µ; stem 2.5-5 cm. long, very slender, with a tawny or rufescent tinge, base with pale down, rooting.
Habitat: On rotten logs.
