Article: Stevenson, G. (1964). The Agaricales of New Zealand: V. Kew Bulletin 19(1): 1-59. Description: Pileus 1-1.2 cm diam., pale pink to whitish, hemispherical, matt; flesh white continuous with that of stipe. Gills decurrent, thick, distant, pale pink. Stipe 2-3 cm x 1-2 mm, pale pink to whitish, matt, solid. Spores 7 x 4.5 µm, non-amyloid, hyaline, thin-walled, wider at pedicel end (Fig. 21). Habitat: In soil amongst forest litter, Levin, 18.6.1949, Stevenson (type).

Spores, oval to subglobose, hyaline, neither amyloid nor dextrinoid, smooth, 5.5-6.5 X 4-5 µ. Cheilocystidia club-shaped, thin-walled, non-pigmented, 20-45 X 8-17 µ.
Cuticle hymeniform, consisting of club-shaped, thin-walled cells, encrusted with
epimembranous pigment, clamp connections none.
