Article: Stevenson, G. (1964). The Agaricales of New Zealand: V. Kew Bulletin 19(1): 1-59.
Description: Pileus 1-2 -5 cm, diam., yellow to yellow-fawn, moist becoming velvety or floccose, fan-shaped or spathulate with margins down-rolled at first; flesh thin, yellowish. Gills decurrent, creamy white, shallow, thick, very crowded, margins somewhat serrulate. Stipe 2-3 x 2-3 mm, lateral, concolorous, with attached rhizomorphs. Veil felt-like, creamy yellow, well developed. Spores 6-7 x 3-4 µm, non-amyloid, thin-walled. Metuloids 30-60 x 10-20 µm, pseudoamyloid, very thick-walled and encrusted with crystals, extremely abundant (Fig. 37). Cuticle of more or less parallel loosely woven thin-walled hyphae.
Habitat: In humus layer of soil under second growth scrub, Wellington Botanic Garden, 26.4.1948, Stevenson & 26.5.1949, Stevenson (type).

Article: Horak, E. (1971). A contribution towards the revision of the Agaricales (Fungi) from New Zealand. New Zealand Journal of Botany 9(3): 403-462 (http://www.rsnz.org/publish/abstracts.php).
Notes: Tectella luteohinnulea Stevenson (29 D) Fig. 15 = Hohenbuehelia luteohinnulea (Stevenson) comb. nov. (Basionym: T. luteohinnulea Stevenson, Kew Bull. 19: 30, 1964)
There is no reason why this species should have been described in Tectella, especially seeing that the "veil", which is specific to Tectella, is apparently formed by the remnants of a web-like cover produced by insects.
