Article: Stevenson, G. (1964). The Agaricales of New Zealand: V. Kew Bulletin 19(1): 1-59.
Description: Pileus 2-3 mm diam., shell pink, hemispherical with or without a minute sharp umbo, velvety floccose. Gills few, adnate, pink. Stipe 15 x 0.5 mm, pink. Spores 5 x 2-5 µm, amyloid. Hyphae of tissue with clamp connections, some thick-walled, some up to 10 µm diam. Cuticle of amyloid to slightly pseudo-amyloid, more or less parallel hyphae and hyphal endings.
Habitat: Inserted on fallen dead leaves of Nothofagus cliffortioides, Arthur's Pass, 7.6.1954, Ruth Mason in Stevenson (type).

Notes: Because of the poorly preserved type material it was impossible to make a thorough examination of this species. Its systematic position remains doubtful therefore.
