Article: Horak, E. (1971). A contribution towards the revision of the Agaricales (Fungi) from New Zealand. New Zealand Journal of Botany 9(3): 403-462 (http://www.rsnz.org/publish/abstracts.php).
Notes: According to unpublished data of Horak and McNabb, this species seems to be a member of the genus Hygrophoropsis rather than anything else. Both genera are characterised by vein-like, forked gills but are clearly separated by distinct microchemical reactions of the spore wall.
