Paxillus

Notes

Large, umbilicate mushrooms with deeply decurrent gills. Accepted for two exotic species, one ectomycorrhizal under pines, the other under introduced broad-leafed trees. Distinguished genetically from the morphologically similar Southern Hemisphere Austropaxillus.
