OctavianiaNotesTruffle-like, ectomycorrhizal fungi. Lacking a columella, attached to substrate by basal rhizomorphs, spores globose with robust, isolated spore ornamentation, which does not show an iodine reaction. O. tasmanica turns red when bruised.
