StypellaNotesA member of the Tremellales (the Order characterised by cruciately septate basidia, each sterigma having its own cell). The fruiting body more or less flattened against the substrate, bearing spines or short pegs, with large gloeocystidia projecting from the tips of the spines. Saprobic on wood.
Two species have been reported from New Zealand.
