Context thin, whitish to olive brown'.
Spores 7.5-11 x 7-8.5 µm, 5-6-sided. Basidia 30-40 x 12 µm 4-spored. Cystidia none. Cuticle a cutis of repent, cylindrical hyphae (7-14 µm diam.), membrane hyaline, not gelatinized, with yellow (in KOH) plasmatic and epimembranous pigment, lactifers present. Clamp connections abundant.
Habitat: On Soil. New Zealand.
Notes: The above description of microscopic characters is based on a study of the type material. Further collections are required to settle the taxonomic position of this species which belongs probably to the introduced fungi.
